Science Education Idea Exchange

To help my students write thorough conclusions, I created the following document based on someone else's idea. The link for it is here.

I am going to try an interactive notebook.  This PowerPoint was created by a colleague and I adapted it to fit my class.  We shall see how it goes! This is the link if you need some ideas.

I feel that Finding Nemo has so many applications to my life science class.  I am going to show my students the following clips to help illustrate two of the relationships: Commensalism Mutualism

This  activity  is to help introduce genetics and Punnett Squares using the toys Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. I created it in my first years of teaching and had a lot of fun with it. This is an activity that I learned of when I student taught.  I took the worksheet and revamped it to make it less confusing for students.  The only bummer is I cannot figure out how to post it all so it looks like it would in Word or a PDF.  The only part that is is missing is the page with the chromosomes on it.
