Educreations

One tool that offers a free introduction to try is Educreations. It allows you to create and share videos with your students. It is user-friendly and now has the capability to be shared on Google Classroom and Remind. This is especially ideal for a flipped and self-paced classrooms, as well as distance learning.

The drawback is there is not too much storage on the free version, maybe a couple videos at most.

Freebie Focus: All About Me Science Beaker

I hunted for new and free resources and found this get-to-know-me activity. It is a beaker for students to complete on themselves and can be found here . The creator, The Crafty Teacher TX , permitted me to share this resource. It is appropriate for a middle school classroom and has questions that are great ice-breakers, like if you were on a deserted island, what three things would you need? This could be assigned on the first day of school or completed in class and posted on the walls. Biomes Foldable

I had way too much fun making this.  My students are going to be learning about these biomes next and I created this example of the finished product and one with the pictures/words without the cuts.  I photocopied the sheet and shrunk it to 75%.  The students will cut it out, fold down the extra space on the left side, and glue it in their notebooks.  Underneath each tab, they will write characteristics of the biomes. I am clearly on a foldable kick!  Thank you snow days. :) I did create a digital version of this for you to download on my Teacher Pay Teachers. It's free!
