Chrome Extenion: Brisk

I saw a video on Facebook about creating Google Slides from a YouTube
video. I was intrigued.

Brisk is a Chrome Extension that has free and paid portions. Because I'm just curious, I signed up for the free account. Below is what the first screen looked like.

I tried the "AI Presentation Maker" and the one little task I completed blew me away. I told it to make a rubric for a specific science standard and it created one within seconds. It is not perfect, but with editing, it could be ready-to-go. What a time saver!

I am excited to check out some of the other features on this.

Freebie Focus: All About Me Science Beaker

I hunted for new and free resources and found this get-to-know-me activity. It is a beaker for students to complete on themselves and can be found here . The creator, The Crafty Teacher TX , permitted me to share this resource. It is appropriate for a middle school classroom and has questions that are great ice-breakers, like if you were on a deserted island, what three things would you need? This could be assigned on the first day of school or completed in class and posted on the walls. Nitrogen and Carbon Cycle Foldable

I was inspired to create foldables for my 6th graders on the carbon and nitrogen cycles after viewing one created by the blog " The Inspired Classroom ".  She had created a much cuter one for the water cycle.  Please forgive my pictures, descriptions, and handwriting. :)     If you would like a free copy of the nitrogen foldable or carbon foldable , you can find it at My Teachers Pay Teachers.
