New Products: Christmas, Bundles, and Earth Science

I have been busy, but it took me awhile before I posted some new products. Here they are:

Christmas Escape Puzzle Room

Celebrate Christmas and the winter in style! This escaped room is designed with four different codes (numerical, letter, and directional) hidden in puzzles and visual clues that lead to matching Christmas presents with their missing tags. The students are told they are Santa's elves on Christmas Eve.

Bundles

  1. Autumn Holiday Escape Puzzle Rooms: Halloween & Thanksgiving
  2. Cells & Genetics Escape Puzzle Rooms

The rocks note sheet has key terms for a unit on rocks, types of rocks (metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary), and the rock cycle. Pair this with your favorite reading, presentation, or video for students to summarize the key terms and concepts. (Background information is not included.)

The classic "Who Am I?" game has 22 cards that cover vocabulary terms associated with plate tectonics and earth's surface (see list below). Simply print the secured PDF with cards and instructions and play! (Definitions are not included and the game assumes students have learned the terms already.)

Freebie Focus: All About Me Science Beaker

I hunted for new and free resources and found this get-to-know-me activity. It is a beaker for students to complete on themselves and can be found here . The creator, The Crafty Teacher TX , permitted me to share this resource. It is appropriate for a middle school classroom and has questions that are great ice-breakers, like if you were on a deserted island, what three things would you need? This could be assigned on the first day of school or completed in class and posted on the walls. Biomes Foldable

I had way too much fun making this.  My students are going to be learning about these biomes next and I created this example of the finished product and one with the pictures/words without the cuts.  I photocopied the sheet and shrunk it to 75%.  The students will cut it out, fold down the extra space on the left side, and glue it in their notebooks.  Underneath each tab, they will write characteristics of the biomes. I am clearly on a foldable kick!  Thank you snow days. :) I did create a digital version of this for you to download on my Teacher Pay Teachers. It's free!
