New Products: Natural Disaster Activity

MS-ESS3-2: Natural Disaster Forecasting Activity
Students make predictions about natural disasters. They will research the one they choose, gather data points, and forecast the next likely location. If possible, they will connect with a professional of their chosen natural disaster as they engineer solutions and map predictions.

I have been taking some time to make my products more user friendly and add resources to make them helpful, so a little slower on the new products. :)

I hunted for new and free resources and found this get-to-know-me activity. It is a beaker for students to complete on themselves and can be found here . The creator, The Crafty Teacher TX , permitted me to share this resource. It is appropriate for a middle school classroom and has questions that are great ice-breakers, like if you were on a deserted island, what three things would you need? This could be assigned on the first day of school or completed in class and posted on the walls. Nitrogen and Carbon Cycle Foldable

I was inspired to create foldables for my 6th graders on the carbon and nitrogen cycles after viewing one created by the blog " The Inspired Classroom ". She had created a much cuter one for the water cycle.
